설명1. REPUBLIC OF KOREA-STAND-BY ARRANGEMENT The Executive Directors, meeting in restricted session, considered a staff paper on Korea’s request for a 3Qmonth Stand-By Arrangement in an amount equivalent to SDR 15,500 million (EBS/97/222, 12/3/97: Cor. 1, 12/4/97: and Sup. 1, 12/4/97). The Executive Board took the following decision: 1. Korea has requested a Stand-By Arrangement for a period of three years in an amount equivalent to SDR 15,500 million. 2. The Fund approves the Stand-By Arrangement set forth in EBS/97/222, Supplement 2. 3. The Fund waives the limitation in Article V, Section 3(b)(ii) Decision No. 11613-(97/l 16), adopted December 4, 1997
