설명It is argued that the Korean financial crisis resulted from the backward financial industry and the aggressive and imprudent behavior of Chaebols under the control of the government. It is suggested that the way of restoring the vitality in the past is to activate the function of market mechanism. It means that the Korean economy requires an overall restructuring toward a market economy. But the costs of restructuring is not shared among firms evenly under the current economic system. Indeed, there may be the possibility that the shares of restructuring cost of labor workers and the SMEs be greater than those of financial companies and large firms.
