설명I would like to inform the board of new developments in the privatization of banks since the circulation of my buffstatement. 1. Korea First Bank The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation has reached an agreement with New Bridge Capital and they plan to have a signing ceremony on December 22. By then, New Bridge Capital will announce new management of the Korea First Bank, including a new CEO selectedfiom afield of international experts. 2. Seoul Bank The authorities requested that the three institutions which expressed their intention to bidfor management control of the Seoul Bank submit proposals by December 24. One of the institutions will be designated as the priority contractor by December 3 1. The due diligence is to be completed by the end of January 2000.
